FEEDING OUR COMMUNITY'S KIDS

Camp staff handing out meals

YMCA Camp Widjiwagan is preparing and distributing more than 1,700 meals each weekday to kids in need and their families for as long as school is out. Metro Nashville Public Schools and Second Harvest Food Bank are key partners in the effort.

Meals are distributed at several of our emergency child care sites as well as three "Grab & Go" sites for families.

Guidelines

  • Meals are free to anyone under 18, regardless of where they attend school.
  • Cars may drive up to our food trucks to receive the meals in order to limit exposure and ensure everyone's safety.
  • In order for families to collect meals, children must be present.
