Pony Camp | Day Ranch Camp
Pony Camp gives our youngest day campers an introduction to the Widji Ranch by working with some of our best friends: PONIES!
In this program, our youngest equestrians have daily short pony rides. Each camper works one-on-one with an instructor to learn basic horsemanship skills such as proper riding posture and the use of basic aids for communication.
In addition to riding, Pony Campers spend their time at the barn learning about grooming, tacking, horse nutrition and horse care. Pony Campers spend a portion of their day participating in traditional camp activities, which includes daily swim time.
