Widji Ranch | Overnight Ranch Camp
Widji Ranch is our signature overnight ranch camp for young equestrians looking to experience a week-long overnight Ranch Camp experience! Campers start the week with a riding assessment to match each rider with a horse that matches their riding ability. Each day, campers have daily riding lessons with their horse that include fundamental horsemanship skills such as stopping, starting and steering, as well as pattern work and trotting.
Outside the arena, Overnight Ranch Campers play an integral part of the Widji Ranch helping with chores, horse care, grooming and tacking horses, and assisting our instructors prepare for riding and ground lessons.
Campers will spend most of their day at the barn but will still have the opportunity to participate in traditional camp activities, including daily swim time and the Big Game. Riders are placed in groups based on an assessment of their current riding skills, but all levels of experience are welcome.
